To Interstate 87 (New York State Thruway):

From New York City - West Side Highway North to G.W. Bridge to 80 West to 17 North (G.S. Parkway is not as quick) to I-87 North.

From Central, Western, or Northern New Jersey and points west: I- 287 North to I-87 North.

From PA, North of Philadelphia - [95 North to US Rte. 31 North] or back roads to US Rte. 202 North to I-287 North to I- 87 North

From Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey & states south - 95 North (becomes New Jersey Turnpike) to Garden State Parkway North to end (New York State) to I-287 West to 1-87 North.

From Jersey Shore - Garden State Parkway North to 17 North to 1-87 North.

From Boston: 1-90 (Mass Pike) West. (Total mileage from 1-90 - 110 miles) to I-87 North. Via Interstate 87 (New York State Thruway), from the South & East (Boston, Albany, NYC, NJ): Take I-87 North, NY Thruway to Thruway Exit 24 (Albany). Pay toll. Keep to RIGHT coming out of toll booth. Take Exit 1N

Continue North on I-87 (from here on it is called the Northway: Do NOT take Rte. I-90 by mistake!) for 62 miles to Northway Exit 23 (Warrensburg). Turn LEFT at end of ramp, then right at traffic light on Rte. 9 North. Go 4.3 miles. Turn LEFT on Rte. 28. (Mountain Brook Motel is on right.) Continue northwest on Rte. 28 for a total of 39 miles. (Go through Wevertown and past North Creek.) (DO NOT TURN RIGHT ONTO RTE. "28N" AT NORTH CREEK BY MISTAKE.) Continue on Rte. 28 North past North River and Gore Mountain, then past sign: "Town of Indian Lake”

Cross bridge. Pass Chain Lakes Road on Right. Turn RIGHT onto Adirondack Lake Road (it’s just after Chain Lakes Road, near top of hill, where right lane ends.)

From West (Buffalo)- I-90 to Exit 33. Go North on SR-365 onto SR-8 North onto SR-30 North Turn Right onto SR-28 East go 0.9 mi. and make Left onto, Adirondack Lake Road. (It just after Adirondack Lake Dam, at the top of hill.

**Follow Adirondack Lake Road (curves around Adirondack Lake) actual, 1.7 miles. (Go past green trash drop off on left. sign says, "Mallard Point Guests Only" Look for "MALLARD POINT, Privet Road" sign on LEFT (Seasonal:. NOTE: sign is taken down in mid-October. Between Oct. 15th and May 1St you can't drive down access, road is chained due to possibility of snow or mud.)

Make sharp LEFT onto unpaved Mallard Point access road. Road is narrow so go slowly.

Adirondack Cabin ONLY: Second driveway on right. Look on right for sign, “Adirondack Cabin” You may go right in, key will be on the table or hanging up as you go out the door. If door is locked, EITHER we did NOT receive your Donation and Use Agreement OR we forgot to leave the door unlocked. Go back to the top of the driveway and look for a (RV) on your right, (RV is not always there.) If camper (RV) is not there you’ll need to go into town and call the phone numbers listed at the top of this page for assistance.

For Adirondack Cove ONLY: Second place on left. Look on (left) for your cottage’s sign, “Cove 1.” (If you go down hill you went too far.) You may go right in, key will be on the table or hanging up as you go out the door. If door is locked, EITHER we did NOT receive your Donation and Use Agreement OR we forgot to leave the door unlocked. Go back out the drive way by the red shed to (RV) both will be on your left, (RV is not always there.) If camper (RV) is not there you’ll need to go into town and call the phone numbers listed at the top of this page for assistance.

87-Thruway Rest Stop between Exits 20 & 21, Malden (Northbound only): McDonald's (Gas -Mobil)

87-Thruway Exit 21 (Northbound only): Stewart's Restaurant

87-Northway Exit 6, Latham: Friendly's, Howard Johnson's, McDonald's (Gas = Mobil)

87-Northway Exit 9, Clifton Park: Friendly's, Howard Johnson's (Gas = Mobil)

87-Northway Exit 17 (Northbound only): Howard Johnson's (~2mi. on right)

87-Northway Exit 19: Howard Johnson's

Rte. 28, North Creek: two convenience stores on right. (Last chance to buy anything before Cottage.)

Past Adirondack Rd. on Rte. 28 into Indian Lake: Grand Union for groceries, pay phone
